What is Resin - How does it work?
Mix & Prep:
During the mixing stage we shall dig out the existing space and prepare as standard to avoid any complications during the build. We dig between 220mm - 300mm down to provide the best results.The mix of resin is stone aggregate with a stable UV-polyurethane binder
Lay the Resin:
After careful preparation & mixing of the resin, we can now lay the material. We immediately poor onto the area as the resin cures very fast. We use a spreader, trowels and rollers to evenly distribute. Sometimes we pour in stages depending on the area size.
Set & Cure:
Now after laying the resin, it must be left undisturbed so it can self level. We keep the area dust free and allow 24-72 hours for the resin to cure. As an added finish we will sand the edges, polish up and even add a clear topcoat for shine and protection.
